Welcome Baby William

I was lucky enough to go see my friend Jenny in Tullahoma (about an hour away) to meet Baby William. He is SO beautiful, and of course Jenny already looks fabulous.

Harvest Hoedown

We went to the World Outreach Harvest Hoedown and it was spectacular! They had about 30 inflatables, live music, a preschool tent full of games, free popcorn & cotton candy and all of it with a Christian message-it's quite a production. We normally miss it because we are at Mary-Evelyn's birthday party. But this year we didn't head to Louisiana because Aaron is working long hours and every Saturday, so I decided to was too far to go alone with the kids for the weekend. We sure missed being there at her hayride, but had a great time here in TN.

The Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to Walden Farm's Pumpkin Patch and just had a great day. They played in the wheat & corn station, went through the mini corn maze, enjoyed the petting zoo, and picked up pumpkins (Joshua was hilarious picking up one twice his size!).

Trip to Missouri

After Aaron passed the Series 7 & two weeks later the Series 66 (so proud of him) we headed to Missouri where he had a week of training, like a boot camp for new financial advisors. The kids and I enjoyed staying at my folks while he was at Westport in St. Louis. It was perfect timing because we were already planning to head to St. Louis for a wedding (Julie Balsman Maritz friend) on the 10th so this way we just got an extra week in town. So on Saturday the 3rd Desloge was hosting the Vietnam Veteran's Traveling Wall which is a memorial to all veterans that is a replica from Washington DC. It was neat to take the kids with dad since he served in Vietnam.

On Monday, mom was able to take off work and we headed up to the awesome St. Louis zoo. The kids loved it & then we stopped by on our way home to see our good friends the Joly's.
We had the chance to visit all my grandparents while we were there and also catch up with a few old friends. Laura (Sutton) Smith and the kids all got together-isn't Gracee so cute! She is like talking to little Laura.

Then on Saturday, Aaron and I went kidless to Julie's wedding reception and it was beautiful. It was so good to see her & Mike glowing, as well as catch up with some of the old Maritz gang. And in other exciting news, as we were headed out to the wedding my cousin Kellie came by to tell us her exciting news that she & Pete are engaged-so looks like we'll be back for another wedding soon!
